Admission to the School of Arts and Sciences Honors Program is competitive and is based on a variety of factors including high school academic record, test scores, and extracurricular activities.
High school students who wish to be considered for admission to the Rutgers School of Arts and Sciences Honors Program must apply to the Rutgers School of Arts and Sciences (SAS) and/or the Rutgers Business School-New Brunswick (RBS) by December 1, 2012, the Undergraduate Admissions Regular Action Due Date.
The School of Arts and Science Honors Program Committee will review the records of all incoming first year students admitted to SAS and RBS to select students who will be offered direct admission to the School of Arts and Sciences Honors Program.
No separate application for direct admission to the School of Arts and Sciences Honors Program is required.
Admission to the School of Arts and Sciences Honors Program is competitive and is based on a variety of factors including high school academic record, test scores, and extracurricular activities. In general, students with outstanding high school grade-point averages and SAT and/or ACT scores are offered admission to the program. The only specific requirement for consideration for direct admission is a minimum SAT Critical Reading score of at least 600 or ACT composite score of 30.
Students selected for direct admission will be notified by no later than February 15, 2013.
Students who have not been offered direct admission to the School of Arts and Sciences Honors Program by February 15, 2013, may request consideration. Click here to learn more...
