The School of Arts and Sciences Honors Program has an admissions process for SAS students--specifically for rising Sophomores. A
t the end of each academic year, SAS rising Sophomores with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.700 will be invited to apply to the SAS Honors Program.
We especially encourage those students who have completed College Writing (355:101) with a grade of at least a B to submit an application.
A full application for continuing students must include:
- an essay
- a resume
- transcript
- letter of recommendation from a Rutgers faculty member
Invitations to apply will be sent to qualified rising sophomores after all spring grades are finalized. No early applications will be accepted.
The next application deadline will be on Monday, June 10, 2024. The application will open after invitations are sent.
Admission is for the fall semester only!
