Do you want to help give an Honors student a glimpse into your profession?

The SAS Honors Summer Shadow Experience is a one day job shadowing experience which gives Honors Alumni an opportunity to mentor a current Honors student and help them to preview a potential career at your place of work.

One way to accomplish this is to set up a schedule for the day which allows for maximum exposure on what you do.  Through this one day shadowing experience at your place of work our students hope to:

  • Explore their curiosity about an interested career
  • Get an inside preview into a professional environment
  • Meet with professionals in the field
  • Discover whether the industry or professional role is a good fit
  • Learn industry vocabulary
