Eligibility

Scholastic Standing

  • Students who are dismissed from the SAS Honors Program at the end of the Spring 2018 semester will not be permitted to live in SAS Honors Housing for the 2018-2019 academic year.  Therefore, if you are on continued probation, you may want to consider an alternative housing arrangement.

Douglass Residential College students

  • DRC students in the SASHP who wish to live in Jameson H should participate in the DRC selection process. Rooming with an Honors College Student

  • While only students who are members of the SASHP are eligible to sign up to live in SAS Honors Housing, SAS Honors Program students may request an Honors College roommate.
  • Honors College and SASHP students who want to live as roommates in SASHP housing must complete this form by January 10, 2018. Both students must complete the form naming each other as their roommate, and both must be verified as Honors students in good judicial and academic standing. Requests received after January 10, 2018 will not be accommodated. Notifications will be sent by January 18, 2018.
  • The Honors College Housing Sign Up and the SAS Honors Program Housing Sign Up are two separate processes, and they occur at approximately the same time. Therefore, once the pair of students decides to participate in the SAS Honors Program Housing Sign Up process, the pair will be unable to participate in the Honors College Housing Sign Up process.
  • If the pair does not sign up for SAS Honors Program housing during the SAS Honors Housing Sign Up period, both students will still be eligible to participate in regular (non-honors) housing sign up.
