What attracted you to Rutgers University and the Honors/Scholars Program?
The variety and diversity of the classes and degrees and how close the school is to my home.

Why did you choose your major and minor?
I wanted a major that would allow me to go in different directions in terms of my career, which is why I chose math.  I enjoy math and am very good in math, and I know this is a skill needed by many employers.  I also chose to minor in visual arts because I enjoy art, and have always wanted to be an animator.

Tell us a little bit about what you're doing now. What was your first job after Rutgers? Where you do you live?
I am currently working on making more animated videos for my YouTube channel to both perfect my animation skills and expand my portfolio to one day obtain a professional animation job.  I currently work and live in East Brunswick, New Jersey.

What has been your greatest professional and/or personal accomplishment since you graduated Rutgers?
Posting my thesis film to my YouTube channel and working on creating a part two for my thesis film.

Was there a class and/or experience at Rutgers that led you to pursuing your current career?
My 4-D Fundamentals class, which I took in the Spring 2018 semester, gave me the basic skills I needed for making videos.  This course also gave me the confidence to try my hand in animation, and gave me the drive to make an animated film for my thesis.

What three words describe your experience at Rutgers and the Honors/Scholars Program?
Exciting. Informative.

How has your Rutgers and Honors education benefited you in your post-Rutgers life?
My Rutgers and Honors education has allowed me to think more broadly about the world and to make connections between seemingly unrelated topics/concepts.

What advice do you have for our current SAS Honors Program students?
Believe in what you are working on.  Do not be afraid to take Summer courses or jobs through Rutgers.  Every experience you have at Rutgers (good or bad) will benefit you in the long run.
