Retiring with Honors: Saying Farewell To Our Valued Teammate

The Honors Program announces the retirement of one of our valued colleagues:

Ms. Karen Nagy is an Administrative Assistant to Dean Hashemi in Lucy Stone Hall on Livingston Campus. She started her career at Rutgers University working as a part-time secretary in the Sociology Department and joining the SAS Honors Program in 2007. She feels fortunate to be part of the SAS Honors Program staff. Working with students has been a most rewarding experience. Karen is from Woodbridge and resides in Howell with her husband and two black Labrador retrievers. Together, they have two children and six grandchildren. When Karen is not with her grandchildren, she enjoys reading non-fiction books, going to the gym, the beach (weather permitting) and shopping. She especially loves vacations!

We will miss having her laughter and expertise on our team. We appreciate her contributions to Rutgers and the SASHP communities, but we are excited for her as she begins her next adventure. Join us in wishing Ms. Nagy a lot more time at the beach and a very happy retirement!

We applaud your service!
